What you will do
- Define scope, test approach, and acceptance criteria ahead of development.
- Execute functional, regression, and exploratory tests; log actionable defects.
- Design, implement, and maintain UI, API, e2e, and integration tests.
- Actively contribute to the automation framework, refactor legacy code, and drive improvements in stability and coverage.
- Integrate automated checks into GitLab CI, monitor pipelines, and analyze failures quickly.
- Participate in production deployments; trigger and monitor post-deploy acceptance tests.
Requirements
- 5+ years of proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer in backend and frontend application testing.
- Strong knowledge of the testing process, methodologies, approaches, and test design techniques.
- Experience in automation with Python and willingness to work with Go as the primary language for test automation.
- Hands-on experience with UI and API testing using tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Postman, or Insomnia.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, REST APIs, HTTP protocol, Git, Docker, and CI/CD systems like GitLab CI.
- English proficiency: B2 level or higher (C1 preferred).
- Must be able to work onsite in Limassol, Cyprus.
