What you will do

• Manage the development of automation software (PLC standard and safety) until field test and customer support when requested.
• Respect Guidelines & Rules in software development
• Work with a strong relationship with hardware team and HMI team
• Participate to functional analysis, FMEA
• Test all the software following the method defined
• Support Supply department (internal testing in Portugal and simulation test benches in Reichstett)

Requirements

• Technical background in Automation.
• Proficient in MS Office and Outlook, with strong expertise in PLCs, motion systems, hardware, networking, mechatronics, and safety.
• Experience with Siemens and Rockwell platforms is required; knowledge of Schneider and/or B&R is a plus.
• Ability to work independently, with a rigorous, dynamic, and organized approach.
• Fluency in written and spoken English and French is required. Knowledge of Italian and/or Portuguese would be a plus.
• Position involves travel of up to 20%, including visits to hirify.global sites, suppliers, and customer locations.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of conveyor and cap feeder equipment is highly valued.
• Familiarity with SAP, GitHub, and Lean methodology would be an advantage.
