TL;DR

Senior Site Reliability Engineer (AI): Responsible for the reliability, scalability, observability, and operational excellence of hirify.global’s ML Platform services with an accent on SLOs/alerting, incident response, and automation for critical data infrastructure. Focus on delivering deployment solutions for ML models, ensuring the reliable operation of the hirify.global Feature Store, and leading reliability initiatives for ML Platform services.

Location: Hybrid (Vilnius or Kaunas, Lithuania). Office attendance 2 days a week is recommended but not enforced. Opportunity to spend up to 90 days per year on workation, with 21 days outside the EU.

Salary: €5,100–€6,900 gross per month

What you will do

• Work with MLOps engineers to deliver ML model deployment solutions.
• Monitor and improve the hirify.global Feature Store to reliably support 240k feature-read RPS while meeting SLOs.
• Participate in deploying and maintaining self-hosted Langfuse for LLM evaluation and observability.
• Lead reliability work for ML Platform services (SLOs, alerting, runbooks, postmortems, toil reduction).
• Build up observability and operational tooling for model deployment and platform services.
• Communicate with stakeholders about incidents, planned changes, risks, and reliability trade-offs.

Requirements

• Strong programming background, ideally in Go.
• Solid understanding of Linux operating systems.
• Experience in parts of the technology stack like Kubernetes, Terraform, Chef, Google Cloud Platform, Go, Kafka, Vespa, Redis, Vitess, or similar tools.
• Excellent written and spoken English (C1).

Nice to have

• Experience with GPUs and ML/LLM platforms (Vertex AI, feature stores, model deployment).
