Location: Hybrid in Manchester, Bristol, Halifax, or Leeds, United Kingdom. Participation in an out-of-hours support rota is required.

What you will do
- Design, build, and maintain secure and scalable Azure infrastructure foundations.
- Develop and maintain reusable Terraform modules and automated CI/CD pipelines using Harness CI and PowerShell.
- Translate security and control requirements into policy-as-code guardrails with Azure Policy.
- Create and enhance "Golden Paths" using Backstage templates and service catalogue improvements.
- Collaborate with security, risk, architecture, and delivery teams to meet regulatory requirements.
- Drive operational excellence across monitoring, incidents, cost optimisation, and reliability, including out-of-hours support.
- Prototype and implement GenAI and agentic-AI automation for deployments and documentation.
Requirements
- Experience in Platform Engineering with a consistent track record building and operating Azure solutions.
- Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Harness, or similar).
- Proficiency in one or more scripting/programming languages (Python, Go, PowerShell, Bash).
- Experience with configuration-management tooling for automation and policy enforcement.
- Strong ownership approach with the ability to lead delivery of features or platform components.
- Skilled in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform.
