Senior Python Engineer
📣 We’re looking for a Senior Python Engineer to join one of the top 5 global management consulting firms.
You’ll be part of a team developing a cloud-based microservices platform. The role is primarily backend-focused using Python and FastAPI, with occasional frontend work using Next.js and React. You will help build, integrate, deploy, and maintain production-grade systems in modern cloud environments.

💡 Must-Have Skills:
-Strong Python and FastAPI expertise
-Experience designing and implementing REST APIs
-Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms
-Solid PostgreSQL skills, including schema design, migrations, and query optimization
-Experience with asynchronous processing: queues, background jobs, and caching
-Basic React and Next.js experience
-Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines
-Familiarity with cloud platforms
-Writing unit and integration tests
-Debugging and supporting production systems
-Collaborative coding and code review experience

📌 Your Responsibilities:
-Develop and maintain backend microservices with Python and FastAPI, including APIs, auth, validation, error handling, and background tasks
-Design and manage PostgreSQL databases, optimizing queries and handling migrations
-Build integrations using synchronous HTTP APIs and asynchronous workflows (queues, scheduled jobs, caching)
-Implement frontend functionality in Next.js and React as needed for API integration and UI components
-Containerize and deploy services with Docker and CI/CD pipelines in cloud environments
-Write and maintain automated tests; debug issues in staging and production environments
-Collaborate with the team on code reviews and shared ownership of production systems, including incremental improvements and bug fixes
