What you will do
- Lead design and configuration of Workday across multiple modules including HCM, Benefits, Time Off, and Payroll.
- Drive end-to-end complex system initiatives, including global implementations and payroll integrations.
- Oversee SOX compliance within Workday by ensuring configurations and processes align to control requirements.
- Partner with stakeholders in People, Finance, Legal, and IT to ensure systems meet regulatory and strategic business needs.
- Mentor junior analysts, provide feedback on their configurations, and drive the People systems roadmap forward.
- Build and maintain advanced Workday reports and dashboards to provide accurate insights and support data-driven decision-making.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in HR/People Ops, with 3–4+ years of Workday configuration expertise across multiple modules and confident integration troubleshooting.
- Proven track record of leading end-to-end system projects, including global rollouts and cross-functional implementations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Proficient in advanced Workday reporting, including calculated fields and dashboard creation.
- Strong understanding of compliance and governance, with experience ensuring systems align to SOX controls.
- Excellent communication skills to explain system logic, translate business needs, and communicate updates with clarity.
Nice to have
- Curiosity about and excitement for AI in People Systems.
- Familiarity with tools like Jira, Greenhouse, Lattice, Culture Amp, and ADP Payroll.
- Advanced Excel skills.
