TL;DR

Vp, Sales - State, Local, And Education (Us East) (Sales): Leading a sales team and selling cybersecurity SaaS solutions into a wide range of companies in the East, US territory with an accent on strategic planning processes, and successful growth-oriented operating units. Focus on leading teams to achieve growth targets.

Location: Must be located in territory (East Coast). This role will be remote, working out of your home with travel as needed.

What you will do

  • Build and grow our business by leading a sales team.
  • Address business development challenges by developing and executing sound internal processes.
  • Identify, develop, and lead talent within the East Region.
  • Provide timely and accurate forecasting of developing opportunities, pipeline, and revenue on a quarterly basis.
  • Partner with operational and functional peers to ensure effective use of resources.

Requirements

  • Must be located in territory (East Coast).
  • Bachelors degree in a business or technology-related field is preferred.
  • At least 10 years’ experience across Business Development/Sales and P&L/Operational roles as a Regional Director or VP of SLED Sales building high-performing sales teams, quality strategic planning processes, and successful growth-oriented operating units.
  • Strong established relationships among key influencers within the region and the technology industry.
  • A proven background of success in leading teams to achieve growth targets.
  • The ability and willingness to travel both domestically and internationally, as needed, is required (approx. 50-60%).

  • You have a bias for action and an orientation towards solving rather than identifying problem areas.
  • You are an all-hands-on-deck type of leader!
  • You have proven professional and managerial skills along with the leadership traits and personal characteristics which are necessary for success in senior management.
