TL;DR

Corporate Legal Counsel (Fintech): Providing corporate legal advice with a focus on Peruvian labor law, compliance, data privacy, and technology services contracts. Focus on regulatory compliance in Peru and other LATAM countries.

Location: Hybrid (1–2 days per week in the office in Peru)

What you will do

• Provide legal advice to internal teams.
• Support matters related to Peruvian labor law.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial and IT services contracts.
• Execute and follow up on compliance matters in Peru and other LATAM countries.
• Advise on personal data protection, privacy, and information security.
• Manage corporate secretariat duties.

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer / Attorney-at-law.
• 5+ years of experience as a Corporate Lawyer / Legal Counsel.
• Experience in labor law and/or compliance, data privacy, or cybersecurity.
• Strong experience in contract negotiation and management, ideally IT / technology services contracts.
• Knowledge of personal data protection and information security.
• English level B2 (upper-intermediate to advanced).
• Experience advising internal stakeholders and working cross-functionally.
• Experience with operations in Peru. Desirable: experience in other LATAM countries.
