Instructional Designer (Contract)

TL;DR

Instructional Designer (Education): Developing online learning and instructor-led solutions for internal sales roles and external audiences with an accent on video development, interactive eLearning solutions, and learning assessments. Focus on designing educational content adhering to instructional design principles with learning objectives aligned to Bloom’s taxonomy.

Location: Austin, Boston, New York, San Francisco, or Remote within the United States

Salary: $60-$65 per hour

What you will do

• Design and develop training and enablement content using various modalities, including eLearning, assessments, videos, and presentations.
• Develop interactive, engaging, and effective training that meets audience needs.
• Design and deliver learning assessments to measure learning outcomes effectively.
• Manage content assets thoughtfully, following naming conventions and folder structure.
• Conduct design and content reviews in a timely manner with the team lead and SMEs.
• Work with evolving templates and tools to streamline eLearning production.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience creating online learning and instructor-led training content.
• 3+ years of experience creating sales enablement content.
• 3+ years of experience working in the software/tech industry.
• Proficiency with interactive eLearning authoring tools such as Skilljar and Arcade.
• Proficiency with video creation/editing tools such as Camtasia and Adobe Premiere.
• Proficiency with content development tools such as Google Suite, Canva, and SnagIt.

Nice to have

• Experience with graphic design and/or motion graphics (Figma, After Effects).
• Experience with Learning Management Systems (Skilljar) and custom HTML.
