Salary: $135,000 - $165,000 per year

What you will do

• Build high-quality, scalable and resilient distributed systems.
• Analyze data to ensure business requirements are met and identify inconsistencies.
• Optimize and support current processes.
• Build data pipelines from various sources and APIs, processing over a billion data points weekly.
• Collaborate closely with Data Scientists, Software Engineers, and Product Managers.
• Design, build, and deploy robust data extraction systems.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience with Python and data packages.
• 3+ years working with databases such as MongoDB, Redshift, S3, Postgres, or Elasticsearch.
• 3+ years demonstrated experience designing custom ETL processes.
• 2+ years experience with Big Data technologies (Spark, Hive, Hadoop, etc.)
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js for building scalable backend services.
• B.S./M.S. in Computer Science or another technical field.

Nice to have

• 3+ years of experience building, scaling, and maintaining software and data infrastructure.
• Experience working with a large scale SAAS application.
• Experience with Kibana or Airflow.
• Experience working in a startup, retail, digital advertising, or e-commerce environment.
