TL;DR

UX Research Intern (AI): Designing and building a centralized research repository and standardizing research templates for an AI contracting platform with an accent on organizing past studies and improving discoverability of research knowledge. Focus on translating insights into product decisions and supporting enterprise customers globally.

Location: Hybrid in New York City or San Francisco, USA. Office attendance required at least twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Salary: $50/hr

What you will do

  • Help design and build a centralized research repository.
  • Create and standardize research templates for various research activities.
  • Collaborate with mentors and teammates to break down ambiguous problems.
  • Work across the stack (frontend, backend, or services) with guidance.
  • Instrument and monitor your work in production, using metrics and logs.
  • Contribute to team culture, documentation, and best practices.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or equivalent degree in Social Sciences, Computer Science, Design, or a related technical field, with an expected graduation date after the internship term.
  • Demonstrated experience through projects, internships, or hackathons where you used user research to influence decision-making.
  • Strong problem-solving and synthesis skills.
  • Clear and kind communicator who enjoys working in cross-functional teams.
  • Excited to learn about contracts, legal workflows, and AI-powered productivity tools.
