What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain robust security infrastructure and protocols.
• Monitor and analyze security alerts, coordinating timely responses to potential threats.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and perform threat modeling using frameworks like STRIDE and Mitre ATT&CK.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (SRE and Product) to integrate security into all stages of product development.
• Stay current with the latest security trends, threats, and technology solutions.
• Participate in compliance-related processes and guide employees on security best practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a similar security-focused role, ideally within the tech or fintech industry.
• In-depth understanding of cloud-native security, particularly with AWS.
• Solid computer science fundamentals including algorithms, networking, and big-O notation.
• Ability to write software for automation, analysis, and demonstration of attacks.
• Strong knowledge of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, and authorization.
• Experience with security tools (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection systems, SIEM) and regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, Cyber Essentials+, ISO/IEC 27001).
