What you will do

• Partner with product management to define and plan the data science strategy for Generative AI initiatives in NGSiem.
• Lead all data science efforts for NGSiem to advance detection, triage, and proactive threat hunting capabilities through AI.
• Design and build intelligent AI agents and optimize ML models for security use cases including detection management and threat analysis.
• Drive cutting-edge research and implementation of novel approaches for security-specific Natural Language Processing and advanced reasoning.
• Lead and grow a world-class team of data scientists, ML engineers, and research scientists.
• Drive adoption of state-of-the-art techniques in large language models, multimodal AI, and agentic systems.

Requirements

• PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, or related quantitative field, OR Master's degree with 8+ years of relevant industry experience.
• 5+ years of experience leading data science teams in production environments.
• 3+ years of experience with large language models, generative AI, or related technologies.
• Deep expertise in machine learning, deep learning, and statistical modeling.
• Proficiency in Python, R, or similar languages for data science and ML.
• Experience with MLOps, model deployment, and production ML systems.
• Experience in cybersecurity, threat detection, or security analytics.
• Proven track record of building and leading high-performing data science teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with agentic AI systems, multi-agent frameworks, or autonomous systems.
• Background in reinforcement learning, particularly for decision-making systems.
• Experience with model interpretability and explainable AI practices.
• Previous experience at a high-growth SaaS or cybersecurity company.
