What you will do

• Work with a newly established team to solve complex problems and provide elegant solutions for hirify.global customers in APAC.
• Act as a full-stack developer in an agile environment, tackling various software engineering projects.
• Learn new technologies, hone your craft as a Rails expert, and challenge yourself.
• Participate in diverse projects and collaborate with multiple engineering teams globally.
• Review and provide feedback on code within your team and across hirify.global.
• Participate in the hiring and onboarding of new engineers as the team grows.

Requirements

• Experience in software development, specifically building web applications at scale with Ruby on Rails.
• Ability to master new technologies quickly and work effectively in a dynamic, ever-evolving environment.
• Demonstrated success in mentorship within software development, particularly with Agile processes and large-scale SaaS products.
• Database optimization experience.
• Experience working with large-scale systems.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build trusted relationships.
• Must be based in Australia for hybrid work.
