Location: Hybrid, at least two days per week in Bristol, Edinburgh, Manchester, or Leeds, UK

Salary: £72,702 - £80,780

What you will do

• Align with a business platform for a banking product or service.
• Own hybrid cloud design and governance, focusing on resilience and sustainability.
• Translate requirements into hybrid cloud designs, shaping key decisions.
• Provide consultancy and cost estimates for business platform budgeting.
• Lead suppliers, SMEs, and supply lines to write and deliver work packages.
• Lead all aspects of infrastructure throughout the delivery lifecycle, including design and coordination.

Requirements

• Experience in designing/architecting Hybrid Cloud solutions (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, Middleware, Storage, Network, Databases) in an enterprise environment.
• Experience with Public & Private Cloud Platforms, concepts, and technologies including Azure, GCP, and AWS.
• Integration Architecture across private and public cloud platforms.
• Skilled at producing quality concise design documentation.
• Hands-on experience with end-to-end project delivery using Agile models and modern software development practices.
• Understanding of building applications through containerised microservices-based architectures.
• Ability to provide technical leadership in a complex multi-vendor environment.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to peers and leadership.
