What you will do

• Lead the design, development, and operation of backend services and infrastructure for AI-driven features.
• Drive end-to-end delivery from architecture to deployment and monitoring, focusing on scalability and performance.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Data, DevOps, Product, and Design teams for seamless AI solution integration.
• Lead, mentor, and foster growth for a team of backend engineers within the AI group.
• Contribute to the evolution of shared AI infrastructure, internal services, and tooling to improve developer experience.

Requirements

• 7+ years in software engineering with a strong backend focus.
• 3+ years as an engineering team lead in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python and backend system design.
• Proven experience building and maintaining scalable distributed systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or equivalent).
• Ability to balance technical depth, people leadership, and business needs.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Nice to have

• Experience building or operating AI / LLM-based systems in production.
• Background in infrastructure components: shared services, CI/CD, observability.
• Familiarity with JVM languages (Java / Kotlin / Scala).
