What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, WLAN) ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability.
• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot firewalls and manage network performance using Prometheus and PRTG.
• Collaborate with systems and security teams to resolve connectivity issues and enhance cross-platform network security.
• Develop and maintain Bash and Python scripts for network automation and configuration management.
• Maintain accurate network documentation and ensure compliance with standards like GDPR and ISO 27001.
• Manage vendor coordination and implement tested backup and recovery procedures for network resilience.

Requirements

• BA/BSc in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 5+ years of experience in network security engineering.
• Effective communication, strong documentation skills, and native or near-native English proficiency.
• Proficiency with routers, switches, firewalls (FortiGate preferred), VPNs, and core network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, BGP, OSPF, VLANs).
• Skilled in using Prometheus and PRTG for network monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Scripting experience in Bash and Python, with working knowledge of Linux and Windows system administration.

Nice to have

• Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Fortinet NSE, or AWS Cloud.
