Senior Software Engineer (Fintech): Building the next generation digital platform to trade, invest and protect digital assets with an accent on clean, modular, maintainable, robust code. Focus on technical analysis, quality assurance, and taking full ownership of the product lifecycle from design to operation.

Location: Hybrid in Zurich, Geneva, Lausanne, or Sion, Switzerland. Only Swiss or European candidates wishing to move to Switzerland will be considered.

What you will do

• Write clean, modular, maintainable, robust code for desired requirements.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand product requirements.
• Perform technical analysis of requirements.
• Ensure a high level of quality.
• Take full ownership of the product from design to implementation, documentation, deployment, operation, and support.

Requirements

• Strong developer experience in Golang and Java.
• Experience with trading, finance, and digital assets.
• Experience with modern software development practices (continuous delivery, continuous deployment, testing, cloud native).
• Experience with distributed systems, databases, queues, security, cryptography, Linux, and networking.
• A sense of urgency and ownership over the product.
• Intellectually curious, passionate, and inventive with a focus on quality and simplicity.

Nice to have

• Experience with high-performance trading platforms.
• Experience with blockchain and DeFi ecosystems.
• Experience with productive containerized runtime (Kubernetes, Openshift, Docker, CRI-O) and software-defined infrastructure (Ansible, Terraform).
• Experience with Angular and TypeScript.
