TL;DR

Staff Technical Program Manager: Leading complex technical programs for brokerage systems with an accent on system performance, observability, and automation. Location: Hybrid. In-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week in Menlo Park, CA or New York, NY offices.

Salary: $191,000 – $225,000 USD (Zone 1: Menlo Park, CA; New York, NY; Bellevue, WA; Washington, DC)

What you will do

• Lead large-scale technical programs from design through delivery and operational readiness across brokerage infrastructure systems.
• Translate infrastructure and platform strategy into clear roadmaps, milestones, and execution plans.
• Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks related to system performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Establish and improve program management mechanisms to increase execution speed and reduce operational overhead.
• Provide consistent visibility into program status, priorities, risks, and tradeoffs for various stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience leading complex technical or engineering programs in large-scale, fast-moving environments.
• Strong technical fluency, including the ability to understand system architecture and evaluate design tradeoffs.
• Demonstrated ability to bring structure and measurable outcomes to ambiguous problem spaces.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with experience influencing technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience supporting or working with large-scale distributed systems.
