What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain a backend API using Python Flask and Cockroach DB.
• Develop new API endpoints based on input from different teams and projects.
• Integrate, maintain, and train AI/ML models focused on audio quality and telephony environment.
• Design and manage database schemas and relationships, performing migrations using Alembic.
• Ensure secure, friction-free, and high-quality customer experience at scale.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in backend development, with 3+ years in Python.
• Strong command of Python 3.x, Flask concepts, SQL Alchemy, and relational databases (e.g., MySQL).
• Experience with Redis for caching, Docker for deployment, AWS, and Git for version control.
• Hands-on experience with machine learning workflows, including NLP and deep learning.
• Solid grasp of HTTP protocols, RESTful API development, and web application architecture.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Grafana.
• Familiarity with Scrum practices.
