What you will do

• Define and evolve the test strategy, pyramid shape, and quality practices for squads.
• Build and maintain shared test frameworks, fixtures, and reusable libraries to accelerate teams.
• Serve as the primary quality gatekeeper for the designated domain, ensuring all quality standards are met.
• Drive pre-development testing notes, example mapping, and risk identification.
• Set and maintain CI/CD quality gates, including smoke, contract, integration, and UI checks.
• Coach engineers in test design, exploratory techniques, and effective AI usage patterns.

Requirements

• 4–7+ years in quality engineering, SDET, or software engineering with a strong testing focus.
• Proficiency in at least one of the organization’s core languages and test frameworks, plus hands-on CI/CD experience.
• Demonstrated experience building automation frameworks and coaching developers in test design and exploratory techniques.
• Knowledge and application of multi-level test strategies and reliable framework implementation.
• Ability to anticipate edge cases, decompose hard testing problems, and reduce flakiness.
• Strong collaboration and interaction skills, influencing and co-creating testing plans with engineers and communicating risk clearly to stakeholders.
