What you will do
- Develop and maintain cross-platform Android mobile applications using Rust and Kotlin (Jetpack Compose).
- Take end-to-end ownership of mobile application development projects, including scoping and timely delivery.
- Optimise mobile applications for performance, usability, and responsiveness across devices.
- Master memory management, multithreading, and concurrency mechanisms to enhance application performance.
- Design for scalability, considering data caching, network bandwidth, and server load.
- Prioritise customer satisfaction by maintaining a customer-centric mindset and continuously improving user experience.
Requirements
- Proven experience developing mobile applications for Android using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
- Familiarity with Rust for cross-platform mobile development.
- Strong understanding of mobile app architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
- Knowledge of memory management techniques and experience with multithreading and concurrency in mobile applications.
- Good understanding of scalability considerations for mobile applications.
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced, scale-up environment.
