Backend Engineer (Fintech): Developing unique features for the hirify.global HR platform, working closely with the Product team with an accent on the development cycle from technical design through to deployment and monitoring. Focus on continuous delivery environment and fully automated QA processes on a microservices architecture.

What you will do

• Develop product features, taking ownership of the entire development cycle from technical design to deployment and monitoring.
• Collaborate closely with the Product team to enhance the HR platform.
• Work in a continuous delivery environment with fully automated QA processes.
• Contribute to a microservices architecture, deploying to production multiple times daily.

Requirements

• Experience as a software engineer with a strong emphasis on backend development.
• Proficiency in Kotlin, Scala, or Java.
• Excellent knowledge of software design and scalable architecture.
• Experience with testing methodologies such as unit-testing, TDD, and mocking.
• Experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL and MySQL.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS or an equivalent cloud platform.
