Infotainment Test Engineer (Infotainment)

TL;DR

Infotainment Test Engineer (Infotainment): Responsible for verifying in-vehicle infotainment systems with a strong focus on functional testing of customer-facing features. Focus on designing, developing, and executing tests in bench and vehicle environments, and analyzing defects for European vehicles.

Location: Gothenburg, Sweden. Applicants MUST have proof of immediate, on-going and valid eligibility to work full time in Sweden and possess a valid Swedish B Driving Licence. Requires participation in mandatory test expeditions, including vehicle-based validation in different markets and environments, multiple times per year.

What you will do

• Contribute to the implementation of agreed verification strategies, plans, and test activities for infotainment systems.
• Perform functional and system-level testing of infotainment features across domains like Navigation, Connectivity, and UX/UI.
• Design, develop, and maintain test cases for in-vehicle systems.
• Execute tests both in bench environments and vehicles.
• Track, analyze, and report test results, deviations, and defects to stakeholders.
• Participate in mandatory test expeditions, including vehicle-based validation in different markets.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar technical education.
• At least 5 years of experience within automotive and/or infotainment testing.
• Strong test analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with test case design techniques and structured verification approaches.
• High communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Valid Swedish B driving license is required.
• MUST have immediate, ongoing, and valid eligibility to work full time in Sweden.
