What you will do

• Design and maintain tools and production pipelines for all departments.
• Lead and mentor a team of tools developers, ensuring code quality and fostering collaboration.
• Collaborate with artists and designers to identify friction points and propose tailored solutions.
• Integrate tools into Unreal Engine and DCC applications (Maya, Blender, Houdini).
• Optimize asset pipelines, build systems, and data validation processes.
• Prioritize development with production based on project needs.

Requirements

• Solid experience in tools/pipeline programming, with initial team management experience.
• Mastery of C++ and Python, and scripting within Unreal Engine.
• Excellent knowledge of DCC tools (Maya, Blender, Houdini) and versioning systems (Perforce, Git).
• Strong leadership and ability to communicate complex technical concepts.

Nice to have

• Mastery of the Unreal Python API and Editor Utility Widgets.
• Experience with CI/CD systems and automated testing.
• Awareness of UX/UI principles applied to internal tools.
• Experience on AAA productions.
