TL;DR

Technical Support Engineer (DevOps): Resolving system, application, and infrastructure problems for customers, providing solutions to accelerate software delivery and reliability. Focus on collaborating with various teams to drive customer success with Perforce solutions and mastering software automation and DevOps systems.

Location: The role is based in the Perforce office in central Pune and requires a hybrid working pattern of three days per week, along with EMEA-hour coverage.

What you will do

  • Work with customers to solve system, application, and infrastructure problems.
  • Provide solutions that help customers deliver software faster and more reliably.
  • Collaborate with Professional Services, Sales, Engineering, and Product teams to drive customer success with Perforce solutions.
  • Work on the leading edge of automation trends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in (CS/IT/Eng/ITSec) or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience & related education.
  • Highly proficient System Administration knowledge.
  • Advanced understanding of software automation and DevOps systems.
  • Awareness and understanding of related emerging technologies and practices.
  • The role is based in the Perforce office in central Pune and requires a hybrid working pattern of three days per week, along with EMEA-hour coverage.

Nice to have

  • Programming skills (Ruby, Python, Perl, PowerShell, Bash, etc.)
  • Experience working with Puppet Enterprise or Puppet Open Source. (Puppet 4 or anything more recent)
  • Windows systems administration experience, including Microsoft PowerShell.
  • Large-scale infrastructure experience.
  • Knowledge of data center management, systems management, and monitoring, networking & security.
  • Technical Support experience in an open source/enterprise software company.
