Salary: €50.000 and €65.000 gross per year

What you will do

• Develop scalable backend systems to process and analyze complex data.
• Build and test event-driven microservices using Java and Kotlin.
• Leverage Kafka for streaming data.
• Utilize GCP with Docker and Terraform for deployment.
• Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and design sessions.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of professional backend development experience.
• Experience with Java or Kotlin.
• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD, and basic cloud concepts (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
• Interest in event-driven architectures and data-intensive systems.
• Completed MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• Strong communication skills in both English and Dutch.
