Senior Systems Engineer

Senior Systems Engineer: Enhancing an Internal Development Platform by designing and implementing secure and cost-efficient cloud and on-prem infrastructure solutions with an accent on Developer Experience and providing automated, secure access to key systems. Location: This is an office-based role, and you are required to be in the Delft office a minimum of three days a week.

What you will do

• Enhance the Internal Development Platform with a focus on Developer Experience.
• Design and implement secure, cost-efficient cloud and on-prem infrastructure solutions.
• Provide automated and secure access to key systems and services.
• Identify and implement solutions to improve Systems Engineering infrastructure and services.
• Work with cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements and gather feedback.
• Mentor junior team members and provide technical leadership and guidance.

Requirements

• This is an office-based role, and you are required to be in the Delft office a minimum of three days a week.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent.
• 7+ years working in cloud and on-prem infrastructure engineering roles.
• Deep understanding of primary cloud infrastructure services like virtual machines, virtual networks, storage, and key vaults.
• Proficiency or experience using scripting languages like PowerShell and/or Python.
• Experience with Atlassian, GitHub, Slack, Cloudflare, Artifactory, DNS, Web Application Firewalls, and SSL Certificates.
• Experience migrating self-hosted infrastructure and software to the cloud.
