What you will do

• Lead and mentor automation and QA teams, both on-site and in geographically distributed environments.
• Consult customers on test strategies, automation approaches, processes, and best practices to improve overall QA and QA automation maturity.
• Apply AI-assisted approaches across the entire Test Life Cycle to drive efficiency, quality, and maintainability.
• Create test concepts and test automation concepts, estimating test efforts, planning and tracking test & automation activities.
• Architect, design, implement, and evolve test automation frameworks and strategies for web, mobile, API, and desktop applications.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional Agile teams to align test automation with sprint goals and delivery timelines.

Requirements

• 10+ years of hands-on consulting experience in client projects covering end-to-end test automation, including several years in a senior, lead, or architect role.
• Several years of consulting experience in QA services at an IT service provider is required.
• Hands-on experience in two or more programming languages, such as Java, C#, Python, Typescript/JavaScript, or similar.
• Proven experience with a broad range of test automation and test management tools including Playwright and other tools for Web & mobile, API, BDD, L &P, low-/no-code and desktop UI.
• Experience in applying AI-assisted tools across the test lifecycle.
• Business fluent in German and English.
