Location: Hybrid, must be able to work from San Francisco, CA or New York City, NY offices at least 25% of the time.

Salary: $275,000 - $370,000 USD

What you will do

• Embed with platform engineering teams to develop deep technical fluency, define success metrics, and partner on strategic decisions.
• Deep dive into product and user data to derive actionable insights and identify opportunities for product, strategy, and operations improvement.
• Develop hypotheses, apply rigorous causal inference methods, and analyze results to make actionable recommendations.
• Build statistical models, optimization frameworks, and simulations to automate decision-making processes.
• Present complex technical analyses and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Establish foundational data practices and help scale analytics infrastructure to support rapid iteration.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in data science or analytics roles, with significant experience in API products, technical developer tools, or B2B SaaS platforms.
• 3+ years of experience working closely with Product or Engineering teams on API or developer-facing products with demonstrated impact.
• Deep expertise with Python, SQL, and data visualization tools.
• Expertise with experimental design, causal inference, statistical modeling, and A/B testing frameworks.
• Highly effective written communication and presentation skills.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience is required.
• English: B2 required.
• US work authorization required (visa sponsorship is offered, but success is not guaranteed for every role/candidate).

• Experience building digital products or developer tools using LLMs.
• Familiarity with building and maintaining data infrastructure for high-scale products.
