What you will do

• Design, implement, and improve practices for software deployments, performance monitoring, system logging, and optimization.
• Ensure the stability, reliability, and performance of global, cloud-hosted systems across self-hosted and cloud data centers.
• Partner with senior management and cross-functional teams to build and maintain resilient infrastructure support systems.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor Level I and II engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer/Information Technology or related field.
• Seven plus (7+) years of experience building and maintaining monitoring and observability systems.
• Seven plus (7+) years of experience working with Windows or Linux server operating systems.
• Seven plus (7+) years of experience working within a hosting environment as a Software Engineer, System Reliability Engineer, or Cloud System Engineer.
• Experience working with containers and orchestrators such as Docker / Kubernetes.

Nice to have

• Four plus (4+) years of experience with hirify.global or an enterprise software company.
• Experience designing, creating, and maintaining automation modules in Puppet, Chef or Ansible.
