What you will do

• Establish the vision, principles, and roadmap for the design system.
• Audit current UI to identify opportunities for standardization and inconsistency reduction.
• Design and maintain Figma libraries (components, styles, templates).
• Create high-quality component specifications with interaction behavior and accessibility.
• Partner with engineers to translate the system into reusable code components and tokens.
• Build documentation, coach teams, and create a contribution process for the system.

Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant experience, with a track record of setting system strategy and driving adoption.
• Strong product design foundation with excellent visual and interaction craft.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining design systems in Figma.
• Strong working fluency with modern front-end concepts (tokens, components, states).
• Experience setting accessibility standards and shipping accessible components.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguity and build structure where it doesn’t yet exist.

Nice to have

• Experience building design tokens pipelines or working with tooling like Storybook.
• Experience with video, motion, illustration/iconography, tone.
