What you will do

• Drive the technical and experiential roadmap for the mobile platform.
• Develop elegant React Native interfaces for real-time trading, analytics, and social features.
• Implement fluid animations, expressive gestures, and tactile feedback using Reanimated and Gesture Handler.
• Design a resilient real-time data layer using TypeScript to handle WebSockets and connectivity changes gracefully.
• Unlock advanced platform capabilities or UI primitives by bridging native modules where JavaScript falls short.
• Partner with backend engineers to design bandwidth-efficient APIs and optimize data flows for mobile.

Requirements

• 5+ years of shipping production-grade React Native applications using TypeScript.
• Deep hands-on experience with React Native Reanimated and React Native Gesture Handler.
• Experience with Shopify React Native Skia or similar low-level rendering tools for custom charts and visuals.
• Proven ability to maintain 60 FPS experiences across complex animated lists and real-time data views.
• Strong understanding of iOS and Android layout, motion, and interaction nuances.
• Experience owning features end-to-end—from initial prototype to App Store/Play Store release.

Nice to have

• Native experience in Swift/SwiftUI or Kotlin.
• Background in highly interactive consumer products (fintech/trading apps, games, or creative tools).
• Open-source contributions to the React Native ecosystem.
