Location: Hybrid in Vienna, Austria, with an additional 25 days per year to work from a city or country of your choice.

What you will do
- Own and enhance the Financial Risk Management Framework, including policies, standards, and procedures across market, liquidity, credit, and capital risks.
- Provide independent 2LOD oversight of trading and treasury risk exposures, challenging risk models and monitoring policy compliance.
- Support ICAAP/ICARA, liquidity assessments, and prudential reporting under MiCA, CASP, and MiFID II.
- Develop concise reporting and dashboards on market, liquidity, counterparty, and funding risks for leadership.
- Partner with various teams (Trading, Treasury, Product, Technology, Operations) to embed frameworks and advise on product design from a risk and control perspective.
Requirements
- 5–8+ years in financial risk management, ideally in brokerage, trading, or crypto, with proven 2LOD oversight experience.
- Proficient in market, liquidity, credit, and capital risk management, with experience designing policies and frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of MiCA, MiFID II, MaRisk, BaFin, and prudential risk principles.
- Proficiency in analytics and reporting tools (Excel, Python, SQL).
- Entrepreneurial, adaptable, independent thinker, analytical, and a clear communicator with senior management and regulators.
- Passion for digital assets and building a secure, compliant, and innovative digital asset ecosystem.
