Lead Data Analyst: Leading a team of talented analysts and independently contributing to multi-person analytics teams, focusing on data acquisition, iteration of ideas, and problem-solving. Focus on applying business statistics, leveraging SQL for interconnected databases, and simplifying complex data for business partners in a global digital product development environment.

Location: Onsite in Kosice, Slovakia. This position works directly with Slovakia based engineering leadership and Cat Digital IT in the US.

Salary: €4,600+ gross/month

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and guide a team of data analysts, monitoring their projects.
• Independently contribute to multi-person analytics teams.
• Assist in the development, testing, and delivery of digital services/products.
• Act as a project lead on complex and highly visible analytics projects.
• Locate and obtain data from various internal and external sources.
• Rapidly iterate new ideas and debug data-related issues.

Requirements

• Accuracy and attention to detail in completing tasks with high levels of precision.
• Knowledge of business statistics and ability to use statistical tools for making business decisions.
• Strong people management and supervision skills.
• Strong experience using SQL to query interconnected databases.
• Capacity to adapt documents and presentations for the intended audience, including senior management.
• Ability to communicate and simplify complex data to assist business partners and decision makers.
• Ability to collect required business data through various data sources and apply data analysis techniques.

Nice to have

• Data-driven skills with the ability to organize and analyze significant amounts of information.
• Good logical reasoning skills and excellent communication skills.
• Exposure to specific organizational tools such as Azure DevOps and GitHub.
• Knowledge with programming languages such as Python and R preferred.
