Software Development Engineer II

TL;DR

Software Development Engineer II: Developing product features for data marketplaces, mobile applications, web applications, and API services with an accent on data and query analysis and optimization to deliver scalable, performant products and services. Focus on software development expertise in high-level programming languages, and troubleshooting complex problems across teams.

Location: Hybrid – 2 days onsite, 3 days remote per week in Las Colinas, TX and Arlington, TX

What you will do

• Develop product features for data marketplaces, mobile applications, web applications, and API services.
• Migrate the product to the public cloud within the team.
• Use automated pipelines for building, testing, and deploying software packages and continuously improving pipeline quality and speed.
• Contribute to test automation and participating in peer reviews to increase product quality.
• Maintain a production-first mindset focused on scale, uptime, and ability to rapidly triage/resolve production issues.

Requirements

• Software development expertise in the high-level programming language used by the product team.
• Experience with data and query analysis and optimization to deliver scalable, performant products and services.
• Proficient in new feature development, automated tests, and the implementation of security controls.
• Experience working in Agile Scrum teams and contributing to improvements.
• Expertise in technologies such as Logic Apps, Tibco BusinessWorks, Azure DevOps, Terraform, Jenkins, SonarQube, Checkmarx, Git, Xamarin, Angular, Javascript, CSS, Node.js, ASP.NET MVC, Azure Kubernetes Service, Kubernetes, Docker, Java, C#, Go, Powershell, Bash, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, NoSQL, Xamarin.UITest, Specflow, Selenium, Postman, Maven, TestNG, and JMeter.
