Location: This role is for the newly formed engineering team in Australia. Hybrid work in Sydney, Australia, with an expectation for local hirify.globalns to be in the office a minimum of twice per week.

Salary: $137,700–$186,300 AUD

• Work with a newly established team to solve complex problems and provide elegant solutions for hirify.global customers within APAC.
• Work in an agile environment as a fullstack developer, tackling a variety of software engineering projects.
• Learn new things, challenge yourself, and hone your craft as a Rails expert.
• Participate in diverse projects and collaborate with multiple engineering teams across the globe.
• Review and provide feedback on code from within your team or across hirify.global.
• Collaborate with teams across hirify.global to diagnose, understand, and build solutions that may span many areas.

Requirements

• Experience in software development, specifically with building web applications at scale using Ruby on Rails.
• Ability to gain fluency in new technologies quickly and work effectively in an ever-evolving environment.
• Demonstrated success in mentorship in software development, particularly using an Agile process and with large scale SaaS products.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to build high-trust relationships.
• A keen interest in improving your craft by using AI.
• Work location: Sydney, Australia, with hybrid office attendance required.
