Expert Fullstack Engineer

TL;DR

Expert Fullstack Engineer: Designing and developing scalable business applications using JavaScript/TypeScript, React.js, Node.js, and Next.js with an accent on backend architecture, database management, and DevOps practices. Focus on integrating RESTful APIs and microservices while ensuring seamless CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure orchestration using Kubernetes and Terraform.

Location: Hybrid work in the Czech Republic. We have three offices in Prague, Hradec Králové, and Zlín.

What you will do

• Design and develop full-stack applications using JavaScript/TypeScript, React.js, Node.js, and Next.js.
• Create and manage backend services, including RESTful APIs and microservices, utilizing AWS services and serverless architectures.
• Design, implement, and maintain both relational and non-relational databases, including ORM management.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD for build, test, and deployment automation.
• Utilize Kubernetes and Terraform for deploying and managing containerized applications.
• Actively participate in Agile team activities, code reviews, and cross-functional knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building modern web applications in a full-stack and backend capacity.
• Frontend Proficiency: JavaScript/TypeScript with React.js
• Backend Expertise: Node.js, Next.js, Java (Spring framework experience is a plus)
• Hands-on experience with GraphQL and REST.
• Hands-on experience of AWS services (Lambda, Step Functions, AppSync, EventBridge) and serverless computing.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written
