What you will do
- Create and edit engaging short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) plus memes, contests, and other community assets that drive conversation and growth.
- Support the tracking and coordination of small-scale influencer activations, including outreach and materials organization.
- Collect and organize community feedback and player sentiment to surface to internal teams.
- Directly manage and moderate high-impact Discord communities under the guidance of a senior team member.
- Serve as the first line of player support, owning Tier 1 community and customer issues with speed and empathy.
- Represent the voice of our brand across community channels, acting as a direct advocate for our players.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in community management, social media, or a related role—ideally in interactive entertainment, games (mobile preferred; PC & console nice-to-have), or media.
- Hands-on experience growing engagement on Instagram, TikTok, and/or YouTube Shorts, with demonstrated understanding of platform algorithms, format best practices, and what makes content shareable.
- Strong video editing and content creation skills—comfortable creating scroll-stopping Reels, TikToks, and short-form video content that drives engagement.
- Foundational understanding of influencer and creator marketing concepts.
- Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills in English.
- Comfortable collaborating across teams in a fast-moving, startup-style environment.
Nice to have
- Direct experience moderating or contributing to a successful online community.
- Experience in a relevant user-facing role (e.g., customer support, social media marketing).
- Experience with community tools, basic analytics, or content planning.
- Love of pop culture, books (BookTok!), and mobile games.
- Portfolio of content you've created with strong performance metrics.
