AWS Solution Architect (AWS)

TL;DR

AWS Solution Architect (AWS): Designing and implementing robust cloud solutions for customers, enabling innovation through continuous delivery and aligning with business goals. Focus on architectural discussions, large cloud migrations, and establishing DevOps culture within customer environments.

Location: Work Location: Mexico. Hybrid for candidates who live within 40 KM of our office in Miguel Hidalgo, Ciudad de Mexico. Remote for candidates who live in the following locations only: Estado de Mexico, Jalisco, Nuevo Leon, Aguascalientes, Querétaro, and Puebla. Traveling up to 20% of the time for candidates outside of Mexico City.

What you will do

• Serve as the technical liaison between customers and engineering resources.
• Provide tactical scope and understand customer requirements for solution development.
• Communicate effectively with both business and technical colleagues.
• Evangelize AWS Cloud value and help customers transition with high-value migration approaches.
• Work with customers to enable a DevOps culture and modernize operations.
• Participate in deep architectural discussions for new or migrating applications on the AWS Cloud Platform.

Requirements

• Fluent, bilingual (Spanish and English).
• 2-3 years of design & implementation experience with distributed applications.
• 2-3 years of experience in networking, infrastructure, or database architectures.
• Strong, in-depth understanding and professional experience with AWS Cloud services and infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with tooling and services related to Cloud Automation, IaC, and DevOps (Terraform, Git, CICD pipelines, Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, AWS CLI, CloudFormation).
• Hands-on experience with tooling and services related to Large Cloud Migrations (AWS MGN, AWS DMS/SCT, AWS DRS) and Database deployments/admin (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).

Nice to have

• 3-5+ years of experience in customer-facing software/technology or consulting.
• 3-3+ years of experience with "on-premises to cloud" migrations or IT transformations.
• 3+ years of experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS or AWS/Azure.
• AWS Professional or Associate Cloud Architect certification.
