TL;DR

Customer Solutions Architect: Helping customers maximize the value of their dbt Cloud deployment with an accent on technical discussions and uncovering new data challenges. Focus on driving customer satisfaction through education on new products and features and building strong relationships with key technical stakeholders.

Location: Dublin, must be in office 2 days per week

Salary: €85,000 - €103,000 EUR

What you will do

• Manage a portfolio of Commercial customers and monitor the health of your accounts to identify opportunities for potential expansion and churn risks.
• Improve customer loyalty and retention through building and maintaining strong relationships with key technical stakeholders.
• Increase the value customers obtain from dbt Cloud through educating your customer base on new products and features.
• Collaborate closely with Sales Directors and Solutions Architects, providing strategic input on customer lifecycle and renewals processes.
• Participate in product discussions and improve team processes.
• Create and deliver external facing content through live events, blog posts, or recorded tutorials.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a post-sales role, such as a technical account manager or CSE, or as a data practitioner.
• A solid technical background, with a firm understanding of modern data warehousing architectures, the analytics stack, and SQL proficiency.
• High degree of comfort presenting to various stakeholders or audiences.
• Ability to operate in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment.
• Desire to be part of a team and improve how we work.
• Openness to travel to external and internal events.

Nice to have

• dbt certification or prior dbt experience.
• Bilingual proficiency in a European language.
• Basic python competency and advanced SQL knowledge.
• Experience with ancillary tools, managing data infrastructure, APIs, etc.
