What you will do
- Lead the visual identity for all physical event touchpoints, including complex wayfinding systems and venue mapping.
- Ensure brand consistency across all physical media, aligning with global guidelines and collaborating with other departments.
- Present final concepts to Executive leadership and align event design with broader business objectives.
- Optimize the print pipeline by partnering with Project Managers and Print Production teams.
- Maintain a rigorous Design Print Asset Database, ensuring technical excellence and compliance with printing specifications.
- Oversee design requirements for event partners, providing templates and identifying new branding opportunities.
- Manage the team’s daily capacity, balancing in-house talent and external freelancers.
- Lead the design team on-site during event week, managing last-minute requirements and supporting production.
Requirements
- 8+ years in professional graphic design, with at least 4 years in a leadership or people-management role.
- Deep experience in the Events or Experiential industry, understanding large-scale environmental graphics.
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, with a sophisticated understanding of typography, spatial layout, and visual hierarchy.
- Strong grasp of large-format print processes, material specifications, and installation coding.
- Ability to translate complex creative ideas into actionable briefs for designers and clear updates for non-design stakeholders.
