4A Games is looking for a Senior Render Programmer to expand and improve the next generation graphics pipeline. The role focuses on implementing advanced rendering techniques, optimizing performance, and working closely with technical artists to develop visual features and tools. The ideal candidate has strong experience with rendering algorithms, modern graphics APIs, and performance focused development for high quality real time graphics.

🚀 Responsibilities
• Expand and improve the next generation graphics pipeline including advanced lighting, rendering techniques and visual effects
• Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize existing and future rendering code
• Research, learn and implement modern rendering techniques
• Collaborate with technical artists to develop and iterate graphics features and tools
• Contribute to the development of high quality rendering systems for modern platforms

📚 Required Skills
• 5+ years of professional programming experience
• Strong proficiency in C++
• Deep understanding of 3D mathematics, rendering algorithms and data structures
• Strong performance optimization and profiling skills
• Experience implementing modern rendering techniques
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills
• Strong understanding of physically based rendering concepts
• Good communication skills and experience collaborating with technical artists

👍 Nice to Have
• Knowledge of graphics APIs and shader languages such as DirectX, OpenGL and GLSL
• Experience developing for 9th generation console hardware
