What you will do

• Collaborate with artists and developers to create and integrate optimized art assets in Unity.
• Design and maintain shaders, materials, and visual effects to elevate project visuals.
• Implement and optimize assets, focusing on performance and mobile-specific constraints.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to art assets and Unity engine integration.
• Guide the art team on technical best practices and workflow optimizations.
• Stay updated with the latest game development trends and tools.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Technical Artist with Unity and a background in mobile game development or real-time applications.
• Strong understanding of 3D modeling, texturing, shading, and real-time rendering techniques.
• Proficiency with Photoshop, Blender, and Substance Painter/Designer.
• Solid knowledge of performance optimization techniques (e.g., LODs, texture atlasing, batching).
• English: Proficient level required, with good communication skills and experience with version control systems (Git, Perforce).

Nice to have

• Experience with scripting languages like Python or MEL for automation and tool development.
• A portfolio showcasing your technical artistry and relevant projects.
