What you will do
- Lead the identification and qualification of new business opportunities through market research, outbound calls, emails, and networking.
- Build and maintain relationships with potential clients, nurturing leads through the sales funnel.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop lead generation strategies.
- Utilize CRM systems to manage and track leads, ensuring data accuracy and reporting.
- Provide feedback on prospect needs, challenges, and buying behaviors to inform product development and strategies.
- Meet or exceed lead generation and sales qualification targets, contributing directly to revenue generation.
- Mentor and guide junior business development representatives, sharing best practices and providing coaching.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in business development, sales development, or a related commercial role within FinTech, financial services, SaaS, or capital markets.
- Demonstrated success in outbound prospecting and pipeline generation, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Strong understanding of buy-side financial markets and ability to engage credibly with senior stakeholders.
- Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Solutions teams.
- Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- English: B2 required.
