What you will do

• Understand architecture needs for top-tier streaming applications on hirify.global OS and develop necessary software.
• Work on audio, video, and graphics functionality porting and collaborate on partner application certification.
• Work on embedded browser technologies like Webkit and Chromium to deliver the best streaming experience.
• Deliver new features and functionality on-time, both independently and in small groups.
• Demonstrate excellence in C++ development and deliver high-performance, ultra-reliable software.
• Make extensive, modular, and maintainable changes to an existing C++ codebase.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant software development experience
• Extensive programming experience with C++
• Proven track record of success with embedded system development projects and Linux operating systems.
• Deep understanding of multi-threaded development and concurrency management.
• Experience working on embedded browsers like Chromium, Webkit, or Opera.
• Bachelors or Masters’ in Computer Science or equivalent engineering experience.

Nice to have

• Experience in API design and developing portable code.
• Ability to accurately estimate software tasks and work to schedule.
• Ability to architect, implement, and test systems for performance and low resource consumption.
• Good understanding of open-source development.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, TLS, HTTP, DRM technologies like PlayReady, Widevine and streaming protocols such as WebRTC, HLS, or DASH.
