Data Scientist

TL;DR

Data Scientist: Conducting analytical projects to understand the effectiveness of existing signals and evaluate eligibility of proposed changes or additions to signals with an accent on maximizing the value data can bring to the user experience. Focus on designing the ranking methodology that will decide which signals, when and where, to show to each user and developing the ML models.

Location: Hybrid Work Environment. Minimum 2-3 days per week in-office.

What you will do

• Conduct analytical projects to understand the effectiveness of existing Signals.
• Evaluate eligibility of proposed changes or additions to Signals.
• Propose improvements to existing or entirely new Signals in order to maximise the value our data can bring to the user experience.
• Help design the ranking methodology that will decide which Signals, when and where, to show to each user.
• Develop the ML models expected to be needed to power these.

Requirements

• Excellent SQL and Excel skills.
• Good experience with data modelling and relational database structure and design.
• Good experience of one or more of R, Python, SAS or equivalent.
• Awareness, or ideally, some experience, with ML processes, algorithms & techniques.
• Excellent quantitative and numerical skills.
• Ability to plan and prioritise your own workload.
• Good collaboration & communication skills.
