What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain automated API test frameworks using Java, REST Assured and related technologies.
• Create and execute manual and automated test cases for RESTful services, microservices and backend integrations.
• Collaborate in Agile ceremonies, providing test insights, estimating effort and influencing team decisions around quality.
• Create and manage API mocks and service virtualization assets using MockServer to support early, reliable and isolated testing.
• Analyze test results to produce clear reporting, raising high‑quality defects.
• Chase defect progression with development teams, retesting fixes, and ensuring defects are appropriately closed.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience in QA Automation using Java, REST Assured.
• Solid skills in Java and OOP.
• Experience with continuous integration processes and tools (Jenkins, Teamcity, or similar).
• Experience of working with version control systems (e.g. GIT and others).
• Good English skills – Upper-Intermediate and above.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum.

Nice to have

• Experience with API test automation of microservices-based applications.
• Knowledge of BDD approaches (Cucumber).
• Good Knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL or similar).
• Hand-on experience with Docker.
• Some knowledge of AWS services is a plus.
