Qa Engineer

TL;DR

QA Engineer: Ensuring application quality and user experience, focusing on exploratory and structured testing of both UI and API. Focus on contributing to test automation using Cypress, refining requirements, and identifying gaps in product knowledge.

What you will do

• Refine requirements and identify gaps.
• Perform exploratory and structured testing (UI and API).
• Build deep product knowledge.
• Contribute to test automation using Cypress.

Requirements

• Proven software QA experience.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Comfortable communicating in English (both written and spoken).
• Strong user empathy and ability to identify requirement gaps.
• Proficiency in manual testing techniques (exploratory, functional, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with test automation (preferably using Cypress or similar frameworks such as Playwright).

Nice to have

• Understanding of the testing pyramid.
• Knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience testing systems involving Service Bus or similar message queuing technologies (e.g. RabbitMQ).
• Experience working within Agile teams.
• Experience with issue tracking systems (preferably Azure DevOps).
