What you will do

• Maintain and proactively develop reusable data models and products.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering and Analytics teams to structure datasets.
• Build rigorous automated checks for data freshness and consistency.
• Document models and fields for easy user understanding.
• Identify strategic opportunities for Analytics Engineering.
• Act as a subject matter expert, advising on best practices.

Requirements

• Previous experience in an Analytics Engineering position.
• Proven ability to design and maintain scalable data models.
• Proficiency with data curation tools like dbt or Python for data manipulation and transformation.
• Ability to write complex SQL and proficiency with orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow).
• Experience with Git & CI/CD and appreciation of FinOps.
• Proficiency with cloud services (ideally AWS) and understanding of Agile methodologies (Jira experience).
